Hazify Sections Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Hazify Sections ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and deletes data when merchants use our Shopify app.

1. Data we collect

• Shop information needed to run the app (for example shop domain).
• App installation and session records required for authentication.
• Billing records required to manage one-time section purchases and recurring app block subscriptions.
• Installed section and configuration state needed to provide app functionality.
• Webhook event records required for reliability, retries, and auditing.

2. Data we do not intentionally collect

We do not intentionally collect or store personal customer profiles for marketing use through this app. If compliance webhooks are received, we process them to satisfy Shopify privacy requirements.

3. How we use data

• Authenticate merchants and keep app sessions active.
• Deliver app features for sections and app blocks.
• Process app billing events and entitlement checks.
• Handle webhooks, including compliance and uninstall events.
• Maintain service reliability, error handling, and security.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell merchant data. Data may be processed by infrastructure providers strictly to operate the service (for example hosting, databases, and Shopify platform services).

5. Data retention and deletion

• On app uninstall, operational app data is cleaned up according to app logic and Shopify webhook flow.
• On required Shopify compliance webhooks (such as shop redaction), we process deletion requests as required.
• Some billing records can be retained when required for entitlement continuity and accounting purposes.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including HTTPS transport and operational controls, to protect data.

7. International processing

Data may be processed in countries where our service providers operate.
